International Youth Leadership Development Seminar - BULGARIA

Dear Sir/Madam,
It is a privilege for me to invite you to the International Youth Leadership Development Seminar, which will take place at American University in Bulgaria between the dates 12-15 April, 2007, organized by People to People International American University in Bulgaria Chapter.
International Youth Leadership Development Seminar is planning to gather more than 80 participants from all over Europe. The main objective of the seminar is to give the right tools to the potential leaders to become future leaders in their fields of studies and expertise. The uniqueness of the seminar is not only approaching to the leadership topics from different aspects, but at the same time combining interactive leadership workshops that will be focusing on effective communication, teamwork, project management, controlling and planning, with lectures given in inspirational context by the well-known regional and international companies. The representatives of KPMG, Coca- Cola, Delloit and Touche, Krafts Foods, Microsoft, Procter and Gamble, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Oracle and some other regional companies in Bulgaria are among the list of invited lecturers.

New group on youth trafficking prevention
|
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to kindly invite you to join our discussion group on youth trafficking prevention in EuroMed region.
It has been established by the EuroMed Network for Youth Trafficking Prevention, the fist and so far - the only youth partnership to prevent trafficking of young people from the Euro-Mediterranean region.
Our fist topic to discuss is Human Rights Based Approach to Traffciking.

New Call of EuroMed Network for Youth Trafficking Prevention
|
Dear Friends,
EuroMed Network for Youth Trafficking Prevention (EMNYTP) is the first Euro-Mediterranean partnership dealing with prevention of trafficking of young people. EMNYTP was initiated in the UK in August 2005 and registered as an independent NGO in September 2006 in Greece.
EMNYTP is the only initiative in the region that provides a platform for cooperation, exchange of ideas, support for project development and databases with educational resources and experts on youth trafficking prevention.
By now our Network covers 23 countries, represented by 74 organizations and independent experts, working for youth trafficking prevention via research, human rights educational programs, human rights advocacy and lobbying for youth and immigration policy improvement.
Our first events started from February 2006 in the following countries: UK, Greece, FYROM, Bulgaria, Turkey, Hungary (European Youth Center, Budapest). Local and national events, organized by EMNYTP on human rights education for youth trafficking prevention are negotiated for 2007 across 11 more European and Mediterranean countries.
We are supported by the Council of Europe, YOUTH Program of European Commission, British Council, Euro-Mediterranean Youth Platform, European Youth Forum, International Organization for Migration, Global Youth Coalition on AIDS, UN Department on Trafficking, Child Rights International, Balkan Human Rights Network and many other international organizations.
We are now running our Second Call for National Coordinators and Associated Centers in all European and Mediterranean countries. This Call is addressed to organizations and motivated and enthusiastic professionals with long-term commitment to youth trafficking prevention. If you are interested in joining us, please send a letter of inquiry to borislava@youth-trafficking.net.
